Green Hedge is a leading developer and operator of low carbon electricity generation and storage projects.

The group's developer arm has developed over 200 megawatts of renewable energy projects to date, with a focus on large-scale grid connected and private wire solar PV systems. The group's fast-growing O&M business provides operation and maintenance services for ground mounted solar farms. With over 150 megawatts under contract in the UK, it is one of the country's top independent O&M providers.

Internationally, Green Hedge develops and operates low carbon electricity generation and storage projects for large electricity users, helping corporate and government clients reduce their energy costs and carbon footprint

In the UK, Green Hedge has created The The Energy Barn ™ and is currently developing one of the largest pipelines of battery storage assets in the local market.  UK O&M provider Green Hedge Solar Operations serves a growing number of customers and solar farms, and is dedicated to delivering intelligent, rigorous and cost effective O&M solutions that help our clients optimise the value of their solar farms.

Niels Kroninger
Managing Director

Niels co-heads the management team at Green Hedge and is specifically responsible for product development and delivery across the group's business lines.

After five years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, Niels moved to Barclays as director for Group Strategy & Planning. Subsequently he joined AKO Capital in London as a partner and Senior Analyst for Financial Services.

Following studies in philosophy in Hamburg and Oxford, Niels received his MBA from Stanford University. Niels holds a PhD in Banking and Finance.

Tess Sundelin
Managing Director

Tess co-heads the management team at Green Hedge and is specifically responsible for business development, sales and transactions across the group's business lines.

Prior to joining Green Hedge in 2011, Tess worked in Corporate Treasury at Goldman Sachs where her responsibilities included structuring and execution of funding products, and liquidity risk management. She holds a BSc in Government and Economics and an MPA in Public and Economic Policy from the London School of Economics.

Robin Stone
Head of Engineering

Robin oversees engineering and technical services at Green Hedge.

Starting his career with Southern Electricity, Robin subsequently worked for Balfour Beatty Engineering in the UK, Middle East and southern Africa on a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects. During a diverse career, Robin has acquired experience in various low and zero carbon technologies, including solar PV, combined heat and power, district heating and waste heat recovery.

Robin studied electrical engineering at Southampton University. He is a Chartered Engineer, and a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

Kate Baxter
Head of International Partnerships and Communications

Kate Baxter heads International Partnerships at Green Hedge and is specifically responsible for further international expansion. She also oversees corporate communications and policy.

Prior to joining Green Hedge, Kate headed Strategy and External Affairs at Lightsource. Before her move to Lightsource and London, Kate was posted in China as the Programme Director for an intergovernmental 'EcoPartnership' led by the US and Chinese governments addressing energy IP and environmental issues. She has also held various roles with international governments and the United Nations.

Kate is fluent in Mandarin and has a working proficiency in Cantonese. She holds degrees in Public Administration and Chinese Language and Literature.

Antony Berg
Head of Operations and Finance

Antony is responsible for operations and finance matters at Green Hedge.

Prior to joining Green Hedge, Antony worked as a Senior Manager at KPMG in their transaction and restructuring advisory practice on pan-European projects. There, he performed independent business reviews and advised lenders and companies on their strategic options. He has also spent time on secondment at Lloyds Bank in their business support unit and was an investment manager at Montagu Private Equity.

Antony is a Chartered Accountant and has a degree in Modern Languages from Oxford University.
